Does the app work without internet?
Yes, completely. Everything is bundled inside the app. It never needs a connection, on first run or afterwards.
Why does my three-year-old see fewer subjects than my ten-year-old?
Subjects arrive as they become age-appropriate. Ages 3 to 5 show seven, matching the seven areas of learning in England's Early Years Foundation Stage. More appear at 6, and all seventeen from age 8. World capitals, for example, do not appear until 8.
What is the difference between the Quiz and Beyond the year?
The Quiz tests the facts the app has taught you — either this year only, or everything from age 3 up to now. It keeps your best score. Beyond the year is separate: wider general knowledge that is not taught in the app, with no score kept and nothing to finish. It appears from age 8.
Is my child's progress sent anywhere?
No. Progress is stored on the device and nowhere else. See the privacy policy.
How do I delete the stored progress?
Deleting the app removes everything it has stored, permanently. There is no account to close and no copy held anywhere else.
Are the leader questions up to date?
Answers about who currently holds an office change with elections. The app shows the date those were last checked. Every other answer is tied to a stated year, so it does not go out of date.
Does the app contain adverts or purchases?
There are no adverts and no tracking. If a paid unlock is added in future, it will be handled entirely by the app store.
